Originally from Medellín, Colombia, Clarita and her husband, Jorge Brinkerhoff, followed in their family’s footsteps as art dealers and collectors, cultivating a lifelong appreciation for fine art. She studied architecture and design, and after taking a sculpture class, became captivated by beauty, inspired by nature, and enchanted by jewelry. This passion led her to a defining idea—transforming her love of jewelry, with all its glitz, glamour, and sentimental meaning, into sculptural “jewelry for the home.”
