Cary Henrie

Cary Henrie is a lifelong professional artist and graduate of the prestigious Pratt Institute in New York. Living and exhibiting for many years in Manhattan, he was immersed in the vibrant downtown art scene, spending time among artists such as Basquiat and Haring and even meeting Andy Warhol. His work has been exhibited in leading shows and venues including SoHo galleries, ArtExpo New York, Affordable Art NY, satellite Art Basel Miami events, and the La Quinta Arts Festival, and his collectors include Whoopi Goldberg, Christie Walton, Albert Belle, Mrs. Fields, as well as numerous CEOs and corporate collections. Now based in Park City, Utah, Cary continues to create distinctive works on heavily textured, weathered canvases, building rich patinas of tone and light, and is especially known for custom pieces and innovative presentations incorporating mirror and lucite with dimensional, curving surfaces.
